Planning focuses on reading comprehension skills including, vocabulary building, sequencing, prediction and retrieving information. It inspires joy in reading and listening to texts through short, focused input sessions and follow up enhanced provision ideas. In a shared reading format, the plans can be slotted into a story time session or as an additional “book talk” time during the day.
