A free set of practical timetable guides designed to help Nursery, Reception and Year 1 teachers structure their day around high-quality continuous provision. Covering Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and mixed-age classes (N/R and R/1), each guide shows how a daily timetable can start simply and build up gradually across a term — giving you a flexible starting point rather than a fixed schedule to follow.

Rather than presenting one static structure, each guide shows the same three-stage progression, reflecting how children (and adults) need time to settle before routines, focus teaching and more formal group structures are layered in:

• Building up to the end of Autumn and beyond: the fullest version of the timetable, with two Focus Input sessions across the day, Guided Reading and Focus Teach groups, individual readers, PE, Forest School/Outdoor Learning, and a dedicated Friday Feedback/Target time
